Driving inclusive development through youth action.
UNA Tanzania empowers youth and communities to lead in governance, economic justice, climate action, and SDG advancement through advocacy, local solutions, and partnerships.
1. Decision Making and Governance
We engage actively in addressing policy and structural barriers impeding youth and people with disabilities inclusion in governance and policy processes from local to national levels.
This means working closely with right holders, duty bearers and partners in influencing policy formulation, reforms and implementation plans, and leading innovations for sustainable solutions in areas of democracy, leadership and development aspect


2. Youth Economic Rights
UNA Tanzania has diverse experience in supporting communities to strengthen their access to finance for improved livelihoods and increase household income.
This is through empowering and equipping women, youth and people with disabilities with knowledge, skills in entrepreneurship and financial management, facilitating access to local council own source 10% loans, youth development fund and establishment of Rotating Credit And Savings Association among others.
3. Strengthening Local Climate
Action UNA Tanzania collaborates with local communities to nurture opportunities for young men and women to innovate and scale up solutions for fighting climate change and adapting to its effects.


4. Stakeholders’ Coordination for Sustainable Development
UNA Tanzania co-convenes the Tanzania Sustainable Development Platform (TSDP), which is a national platform dedicated to coordinating CSOs for monitoring and reporting the implementation of SDGs
