Gender disparities refer to differences in women’s and men’s access to resources, status and well-being, which usually favours men and are often institutionalized through law, justice and social norms.
The 2030 global goals commit to the aspiration of leaving no one behind. The goals were adopted in 2015 where global leaders agreed to collectively fight poverty and attain sustainable development within the next 15 years.

Since the establishment of the Tanzania Sustainable DevelopmentPlatform (TSDP) in April 2015,our mission has been to create amovement on SDGs in the Tanzania Civil Society Sector, by providing a platform for coordination, multistakeholder engagement, and experience sharing. Our goal is to ensure meaningful and impactful engagement and contribution of civil society organizations in the implementation, follow up and review of SDGs in Tanzania inline with national priorities as outlined in long-term and mid-term national development plans.
